44th CAF Ordinary Assembly
All set for 44th CAF Ordinary Assembly in Tanzania
The 44th CAF Ordinary Assembly takes place in Arusha, Tanzania today.
The Assembly to take place at Lake Nyasa Hall, Arusha International Convention Centre (AICC) will be graced by the Prime Minister of the United Republic of Tanzania Kassim Majaliwa Majaliwa who represented the President Samia Suluhu Hassan.
Dr. Patrice Motsepe, the CAF President, FIFA President Gianni Infantino, all delegates from Member Associations, guests and legends will attend the Assembly which comes to the CECAFA region and Tanzania in particular for the first time.
Wallace Karia, President of the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) told Cecafaonline that hosting this Assembly that brings all football people together is huge for Tanzania. “We thank CAF for giving us this opportunity to host this Assembly,” added Karia, also the President of the Council of East and Central African Football Associations (CECAFA).
After the Assembly CAF President Dr. Motsepe will also launch the Africa Super League.
Apart from Kenya who are serving a suspension by FIFA, all CECAFA members are attending the 44th CAF Ordinary General Assembly.
