Young Africans, KMKM SC face tricky away tests

After losing their first leg matches at home Young Africans Sports Club and KMKM SC are expected to face tricky away tests this weekend in the preliminary round of the 2020/2021 TotalEnergies  CAF Champions League.

The Tanzania Premier League side Young Africans lost 1-0 to Rivers United in Dar es Salaam, while KMKM SC (Zanzibar) fell 2-0 to Libya’s Al-Attihad.

KMKM SC will play their game against the Libyan Premier League champions in Sfax, Tunisia.

Burundi’s Le Messager de Ngozi who managed to pick a 1-1 draw away to US Gendamerie Nationale will also play the return leg at the the Azam Complex in Dar es Salaam.

Al Hilal (Sudan) who managed to pick a 2-2 draw away to Ethiopia’s Fasil Kenema will hope that they can utilize their home advantage at the Al Hilal Stadium in Khartoum.

Kenya’s Tusker FC who drew 1-1 against AS Arta Solar 7 (Djibouti) will play the return match at the Nyayo Stadium on Saturday, while Rwanda APR will host Mogadishu City Club in the return leg in Kigali after the two teams failed to find the net in the first leg.

The biggest game in the CECAFA region will see regular campaigners El Merreikh (Sudan) host Express FC at the Shikan Castle Stadium in Obied on Sunday.
