APR FC defeat Rayon Sports to win FERWAFA Peace Cup

Army side APR FC are the winners of the 2024/2025 FERWAFA Peace Cup.
APR FC defeated arch-rivals Rayon Sports FC 2-0 in the final played at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali on Sunday.
First half goals by Djibrire Quattara and Gilbert Mugisha were enough to ensure APR FC walked away with the trophy and cash prize in-front of their fans.
To reach the final APR FC ejected Police FC 2-1 on goal aggregate, while Rayon Sports FC also saw off Mukura Victory Sports FC 2-1 on goal aggregate.
In the women’s category Rayon Sports WFC were on the losing side. After starting well, Rayon Sports WFC suffered a 4-2 defeat to Indahangarwa WFC in the final.
