ZONAL AFCON U-17 QUALIFIERS: Djibouti warns Tanzania ahead of crucial tie

The head coach of Djibouti’s U-17 Sharks Mohamed Ali Affasseh has warned Tanzania ahead of their last Group B game in the on-going Zonal Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) U-17 qualifiers in Rwanda.

Djibouti who held hosts to a goalless draw on Wednesday will need a draw against Tanzania’s Serengeti Boys at the Umuganda Stadium in Rubavu District.

“Tanzania should watch out for us because we know the strategy that will get us the result against them,” said Affasseh.

The coach said although they respect the Tanzanian team, his players are determined to die a little on the pitch to see the team get a result to will send them to the semi-final. “We are well prepared for the game and the players are determined to prove a point,” added the coach.

Tanzania who have also booked a place in the knock out stage before today’s game have however made it clear they will come all out to get maximum points. “We want to win all our games in this competition and my players are ready,” said Tanzania’s coach Maalam Swalehe Mohamed.

The Tanzania’s team will look to their leading striker with two goals in the competition Omar Mvungi to propel them to another victory.
