Tanzania’s Young Africans silence TP Mazembe in CAF Confederation Cup

_{Coach Nasreddine Nabi’s side silenced former African champions TP Mazembe 3-1 in a match played at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam on Sunday.}

_{Zambian international Kennedy Musonda gave the home side the lead after 7 minutes, and Mudathir Yahya doubled the lead four minutes later.}

_{In the second half the DR Congo giants returned to dictate the pace of the match, but still found the Young Africans defending line up to the task.}

_{Alex Ngonga pulled a goal back for TP Mazembe with a well taken free kick that beat Young Africans’s goalkeeper Diarra. But the home side continued to push forward and made it 3-1 with substitute Kisinda scoring after the 90 minutes.}

_{The win sends Young Africans SC to third place on the log in Group D below TP Mazembe who have the same number of points. Tunisia’s Monastir who beat Young Africans SC 2-0 in the opening match last week and drew 1-1 away to Real Bamako on Sunday lead the group with 4 points.}
