Young Africans placed in tough CAF Confederation Cup group

_{Tanzania reigning League champions Young Africans SC have today known their opponents in the group stage of the 2022/2023 TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup.}

_{In the draw conducted today in Cairo, Egupt, Young Africans SC has been placed in Group D that also has former African champions TP Mazembe, US Monastir (Tunisia) and Mali’s AS Real Bamako.}

_{After bowing out in the qualifiers for the group stage of the Totalenergies CAF Champions League, the Tanzanian side saw off Club Africain (Tunisia) to make it to the group stage of the second Tier tournament, the TotalEnergies CAF Confederations Cup.}

_{The draw which was attended my some legends of African football was conducted by the  CAF Competitions Director Samson Adamu.}

_{Young Africans SC are the only team from the CECAFA region that qualified for the group stage of the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup.}
