Young Africans host Uganda’s Vipers SC

Tanzania Premier League champions Young Africans SC will host Uganda’s Vipers SC in an international friendly match at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam this evening.

The match will also mark the peak of the Mwananchi week 6 ‘Wiki ya Mwananchi’ celebrations for Young Africans SC.

Arafat Haji, The Young Africans Vice President made it clear that it is deserving for the Club to play against the Uganda Premier League champions. “Apart from the celebrationss this match will also help us prepare well for the CAF Champions League,” added Arafat Haji.

Nasreddine Nabi, the head coach of Young Africans SC told Cecafaonline after training on Friday that he is excited about the international friendly. “This match will give us a good opportunity to assess several things as we prepare for the new season that kicks-off soon,” added Nabi.

Vipers’ Brazilian coach Roberto Oliveira Gonçalves do Carmo said that this international friendly comes at the right time to test his team ahead of the CAF Champions League and the new season in Uganda. “We are here to give a good account and the Tanzanians should expect good football,” added the Vipers SC coach.The likes of Ugandan international Khalid Aucho, Fiston Mayele, Feisal Salum together with the new signings will be some of the star Players to watch for Young Africans, while Vipers SC will look to Bobosi Byaruhanga, SC
