Tanzania’s Kassano, Gilla attend CAF General Coordinators Course in South Africa

Two representatives from the CECAFA region have attended a general coordinators course organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

Tanzania’s Jonathan Kassano and Herieth Martin Gilla attended the course which took place October 5-7 in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.

The Course was under the leadership of the CAF Deputy Director of Competitions, Khaled Nassar. It was attended by General Coordinators from nine different countries, including Egypt, Gabon and Tanzania who are not in the COSAFA zone.

“We learn several things during the course and this will help us become much better General Coordinators,” Herieth Martin Gilla told Cecafaonline during an interview at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Thursday.

The other members from the CECAFA who had been expected to attend the course but did not travel to South Africa include; Amin Mohamed Djama (Djibouti), Frank Ogolla (Kenya) and Francois Regis Uwayezu (Rwanda).
