Simba SC, Al Hilal pick vital wins in TotalEnergies CAF Champions League

_{Zambian International Clatous Chama netted at the stroke of half time to help Tanzania Premier League side edge Vipers SC (Uganda) 1-0 in a Group C match played at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es salaam.}

_{The win for Simba takes them to second place in the group with 6 points, while Raja Casablanca who defeated AC Horoya in Guinea 3-1 are top with 12 points and have already booked a place in the quarter finals.}

_{Roberto Oliveira, the Simba SC Brazilian coach thanked his team for collecting three points in a match against his former team. “It was not an easy match against a strong Vipers team, but I thank my players for remaining focused and picked the three points,” said Oliveira.}

_{Sudan Premier League reigning champions Al Hilal also collected a 2-0 win at home to Coton Sport in a Group B match played in Khartoum. David Abagna gave Al Hilal the lead after 41 minutes, and DR Congo International Makabi Lilepo made it 2-0 with a penalty converted after 83 minutes.}
