Our players are hungry, well motivated to face USM Alger – Kaze

The assistant coach of Young Africans SC, Cedric Kaze has said that the team is well prepared to face USM Alger in the first leg of the 2022/2023 TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup final on Sunday.

The Tanzania Premier League giants will host the Algerian side in the first leg at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.

Kaze has made it clear that reaching the final has not been by mistake, but hard work. “We have worked hard to reach the final and the players are hungry and well motivated to make it count at the final,” says Kaze.

He says since this is a final and the first leg is at home, they must make the home advantage count by getting a good result before they travel to Algeria for the return leg.

“We know what it means to be in a final and the players are very determined to give their best as we work hard to write more history as a Club,” added the assistant coach.

Kaze called upon all fans to come in big numbers to motivate the team so that they can get a good result.

Young Africans SC go into the final after ejecting South Africa’s Marumo Gallants 4-1 on aggregate. The Tanzanian side also boost of a good unbeaten home record in the competition.
