Omdurman giants El Merreikh halt ambitious Azam of Tanzania in the quarter finals
The Sudanese stifled the potent Azam attack and it was goalless after 90 minutes of play. In the shoot-out, El Merreikh’s Ahmed Elbasha could not convert the first kick but the rest of teammates did while Shomari Kapombe shot wide for Azam and Lionel Saint Preux had the last kick saved by El Merreikh ‘keeper Salim Omar Magoola.
