Ngorongoro Heroes beat Saudi Arabia’s U-20s in build-up match
Tanzania’s U-20 national team, Ngorongoro Stars picked a 1-0 win against Saudi Arabia’s U-20 side in an international friendly played in Al Khobar on Friday night.
Striker Ben Starkie netted the lone goal for the Ngorongoro Heroes in a game played at the Prince Saud Bin Jalawy Stadium.
The Tanzania U-20 national team used the match as part of their preparations ahead of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) U-20 tournament to take place in Mauritania.
Morongoro Heroes qualified for the Afcon U-20 after finishing second to Uganda in the Zonal qualifiers that ended in Tanzania last month.
