Ethiopia set to camp in Rabat ahead of CHAN

_{Esayas Jira, President of the Ethiopia Football Federation (EFF) confirmed to Cecafaonline on Tuesday that the team will depart on January 3rd, 2023 to camp in Rabat for eight days.}

_{“Our team will go and acclimatize in Morocco and may be play a friendly match. This camp is part of an agreement we signed with The Royal Moroccan Football Federation of Morocco,” says Jira.}

_{The tournament that brings together players featuring in their local Leagues at home will take place from January 13th to February 4th, 2023.}

_{Ethiopia are placed in Group A alongside the hosts Algeria, Mozambique and former champions Libya.}

_{Wubetu Abate, the head coach of Ethiopia’s national team has made it clear that the camping in Morocco will help them prepare better because the team will be out of all distractions from home and also acclimatize. “We need to prepare well before our opening match against Mozambique,” added the coach.}

_{Uganda Cranes and Sudan are the other two teams from the Council of East and Central Africa Football Associations (CECAFA) Zone that will play at the CHAN tournament. Morocco are the defending champions.}
