CAF President Dr. Motsepe to visit South Sudan – Augustino Maduot Parek

The President of the African Football Federation (CAF), Dr. Patrice Motsepe will vist South Sudan in the next few weeks.

General Augustino Maduot Parek, the new President of the South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) confirmed the development to Cecafaonline.

“During our meeting with Dr. Motsepe last weekend in Tanzania he promised to visit South Sudan in a few weeks to come and see the different football projects,” added Parek.

“It will be a good step to have the CAF President visit our country and see what we are doing,” said Parek who was elected SSFA President on July 22nd, 2021.

Speaking about some of the aspects he plans to implement in his 4-year mandate, Parek says there is need for training and upgrading of coaches and referees, and also improve the style of administration. He also made it clear that they will work hard towards getting a League sponsor.

South Sudan was officially admitted as a member of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) on 10th February 2012 and later as a member of FIFA in May the same year.
