Who will APR FC, Simba face in TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup next round?

The draw for the next round of the 2021/2022 TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup will be conducted in Cairo, Egypt today.

Khaled Nassar, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) head of Competitions will conduct the draw, assisted by Egypt and Zamalek legend Ismail Youssef.

Teams from the CECAFA region that will be drawn in the additional second preliminary round include; Gor Mahia FC (Kenya) and those that dropped from the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League Tusker FC (Kenya), Simba SC (Tanzania) and APR FC (Rwanda).

According to the format the 16 teams that qualified from second preliminary round of the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup will face the losing 16 teams from the second preliminary round of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League.

The first leg of the additional second preliminary round of the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup will be played November 26-28th, while the second leg takes place between December 3-5th.

The qualified teams are:

RS Berkane (Morocco), JS Kabylie (Ageria), Enyimba (Nigeria), CS Sfaxien (Tunisia), JS Saoura (Algeria), Pyramids (Egypt), Al Masry (Egypt), Gor Mahia FC (Kenya), Marumo Gallants (South Africa), Coton Sport (Cameroon), Orlando Pirates (South Africa), Red Arrows (Zambia), DC Motema Pembe (DR Congo), Binga FC (Mali), GD Interclube (Angola), Al Ahli Tripoli (Libya)/ Biashara United (Tanzania)

Tusker FC (Kenya), Hearts of Oak (Ghana), Stade Malien (Mali), LPRC Oilers (Liberia), US Gendarmerie Nationale (Niger), Al Ittihad (Libya), APR FC (Rwanda), AS Maniema Union (DR Congo), TP Mazembe (DR Congo), Simba SC (Tanzania), Rivers United (Nigeria), ASEC Mimosas (Cote d’Ivoire), AS Otoho (Congo), FC Nouadhibou (Mauritania), Royal Leopards (Eswatini), Zanaco FC (Zambia).
