We know how to handle Tanzania – Coach Mutik

The head coach of Zanzibar’s U-18 women’s team, Abdul Mutik has said they are well prepared for their match against Tanzania on Sunday in the on-going CECAFA U-18 Women’s Championship.

Zanzibar opened their campaign few days ago with a 3-0 defeat to Uganda, while hosts Tanzania have already bagged two straight wins and top the log.

But Mutik has made it clear that going into the match with Tanzania they are well motivated to play well. ” We know how to handle the Tanzania team and my players are very prepared, ” added the coach.

Mutik said after losing the first match they have tried to correct the mistakes and are looking forward to the match with Tanzania.

But Tanzania’s experienced coach Bakari Nyundo Shime has made it clear that they are taking every match at a time like a final. ” We are determined to win all out matches and win the trophy, ” added Shime, who also handled Tanzania’s team at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in India last year.

Shime’s team kick started the tournament with a 3-0 win against Burundi, and followed it up with a 2-0 victory against Ethiopia on July 27th.

The earlierr match today will pit Ethiopia against Burundi, with all matches being played at the Azam Complex, Chamazi.
