Two CECAFA members appointed for TotalEnergies Confederation Cup final

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed two members from Rwanda and Uganda as officials for the 2021/2022 TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup final.

Nigeria’s Uyo-Godswill Akpabio Stadium will host the final between South Africa’s Orlando Pirates and RS Berkane (Morocco) on May 20th, 2022.

Rwanda’s Micheal Gasingwa has been selected as the Commissioner of the match, while experienced security expert Dixon Adol Okello from Uganda will take charge as the security officer.

The two officials from the CECAFA region arrived in Nigeria yesterday ahead of the final  which will be handled by Zambian referee Janny Sikazwe.

Tanzanian giants Simba SC were knocked out by Orlando Pirates at the quarter final stage of the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup.
