Tanzania’s Miroshi joins Belgian Pro League side SV Zulte Waregem Club

Tanzanian international Novatus Dismas Miroshi has joined Belgian Pro League side, SV Zulte Waregem Club.

The 19-year old midfielder joined the Club on Tuesday from Maccabi Tel Aviv on a three year deal.

He joined Maccabi Tel Aviv’s Youth Academy in the 2020/21 season and played 14 matches for the Under 19’s Maccabi Tel Aviv ‘Schahar’. Last season (2021/22) Novatus made 26 appearances during a one-season long loan-spell at second division side Beitar Tel Aviv Bat Yam.

Miroshi has also represented the Tanzania senior national team for which he scored 2 goals in 8 international appearances.

His new Club SV Zulte Waregem said they are happy to sign a young and talented player.

“I’m a player who likes to play fast and smart. You have little time in football, so you have to play fast to make a difference,” says Miroshi. club, I was immediately convinced of the project and I can’t wait to be part of Essevee,” said the Tanzanian International.

Miroshi joins two other Tanzanian players in the paid ranks in Belgium. Mbwana Ally Samatta and Kelvin Pius John are the other Tanzanian players featuring for Antwerp and Genk respectively.
