Tanzania to host 44th CAF Ordinary General Assembly
The 44th CAF Ordinary General Assembly will take place in Arusha, Tanzania on August 10th, 2022.
Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) confirmed the development today. TFF revealed that Veron Mosengo-Omba, the Secretary General of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) confirmed that the Ordinary Assembly will be held in Arusha.
“We kindly inform you that on 10th April, 2022 the CAF Executive agreed by round robin resolution that the 44th CAF Ordinary Assembly will be held on August 10th in Arusha, Tanzania,” said Mosengo-Omba’s communication to Member Associations including Tanzania.
According to paragraph 5 of the Article 17, the Executive Committee shall determine the date, time and place of the General Assembly Meeting.
Arusha also hosted the Ordinary Assembly of the Council of East and Central Africa Football Associations (CECAFA) on February 25th, 2022. The meeting was also graced by the CAF Secretary General Mosengo-Omba.
