Sudan’s Falcons of Jediane will be all out to try and get their first win in Group I of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers 2022 tonight when they face Guinea.

The match will be played at a neutral ground at the Grande State Marrakech in Morocco because of the political challenges in Guinea.

Sudan who are glued bottom of the log opened the campaign with a 2-0 loss away to Morocco, before suffering an embarrassing 4-2 defeat at home in Khartoum.

But the head coach Hubert Velud says they must go all out and try to get their qualification campaign back on track. “We need to start winning and get back our campaign on track. We have prepared well and the team is determined to give it’s best,” added Velud.

Sudan will also host the return leg against Guinea in Morocco on October 9th at the Grand Agadir Stadium. The Confederation of African Football (CAF) did not clear the stadiums in Sudan during a recent inspection.
