South Sudan appoints Lual Lual as new Secretary General

The Board of Directors of the South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) has appointed Victor Lawrence Lual Lual as the new Secretary General.

Lual Lual who is a Confederation of African Football (CAF) match Coordinator was appointed on Thursday during a Board  meeting in Juba.

“SSFA’s Board of Directors in the first meeting after the General Assembly, relieved Anthony John Lauro and his deputy Ajongo Domasio and made new appointments,” said SSFA President Francis Amin Michael.

Lual Lual who is currently in Egypt to handle a CAF Champions League match between Zamalek and Teugueth was appointed together with two deputies Joseph Abay and Viola Wiley.

“I am happy about this appointment and I promise to work hard for the development football in South Sudan,” said Lual Lual.

Besides being a Match Coordinator at various CAF Club matches, Lual Lual was also an official at the 2018 CHAN (Morocco), 2019 U-17 AFCON (Tanzania), 2019 AFCON (Egypt) and 2021 CHAN (Cameroon) among others.

SSFA are expected to elect new office bearers during an elective General Assembly to take place in June this year.
