Tanzania Premier League side, Simba Sports Club have arrived in Ismaila, Egypt to start pre-season training.

The Club under newly appointed Coach, Zoran Manajlovic (Maki) traveled on Thursday via Addis Ababa and arrived today ahead of the one month pre-season training.

Players who are engaged with the national team ahead of the TotalEnergies Africa Nations Championship (CHANJ) 2022 qualifiers did not travel.

“The one-month camp will be in Ismailia City which we believe will help Coach Zoran Maki and his assistants prepare the squad,” said management of the team.

The squad is expected to return to the country on August 5, and face arch-rivals and 2021/2022 NBC Tanzania Premier League champions Young Africans SC on August 13th in the Community Shield.

After failing to win any title last season, Simba SC have been busy in the transfer market determined to change their fortunes this season.
