The head coach of Simba Queens, Charles Lukula has stated that he will ring changes for the final Group A match against Green Baffaloes in the on-going CAF Women’s Champions League.

Simba Queens restored their hopes of making it to the semi final stage when they defeated Liberia’s Determine Girls 2-0 on Wednesday in Rabat. Skpiper Opah Clement and Barakat Olaiya netted the goals.

After Morocco’s ASFAR booked a place in the semi final after they defeated both Simba Queens and Green Baffaloes, the CECAFA giants now need to win the last group match on November 5th in Marrakech.

“We are happy that after losing 1-0 in the opening match against ASFAR, we won the match against Determine Girls 2-0. But we continue to miss so many scoring chances and this will be addressed by making some changes,” says Lukula.

The Ugandan who signed for Simba Queens few weeks ago made it clear that they head into a do-or-die match that requires all the players who get on the pitch to be ready to die a little for the team. “We need a win to be able to qualify for semi finals and that will need players who will be up to the task,” added Lukula.

The coach further says that his team has what it takes to employ the best tactics that will get the result against the COSAFA champions. “We need to plan well and be ready to play like it’s a final,” added Lukula.

Besides ASFAR, reigning champions Mamelodi Sundowns who have won all their two matches before playing their third group match have already qualified for the semi final stage.
