Salaam FC Bor to represent South Sudan in CAF Champions League

_{Newly crowned South Sudan National League champions Salaam FC Bor will make their first appearance in the 2023/2024 TotalEnergies CAF Champions League.}

_{The Bor based team were last week crowned champions for the first time, while El-Merriekh FC of Bentiu finished second.}

We shall also El Merriekh FC Juba, the Cup winners represent the country in the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup,” Victor Lual, the South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) General Secretary told Cecafaonline.}

_{The South Sudan National League kicked off on May 10, 2023 with over 10 teams from the three regions of Upper Nile region, Equatorial region and Bahr El Ghazel region.}

_{Besides the trophy, the champions Salaam FC Bor also picked a US$20,000 cash prize.}

_{Augustino Maduok, President of the South Sudan Football Association (SFFA) thanked the two teams for working hard to win title in the 2022/2023 season.}
