Uganda’s KCCA FC and Atlabara FC (South Sudan) will be in action this afternoon Friday in return leg matches of the CAF Champions League. KCCA FC who lost 3-2 in the first leg away to African Stars of Namibia will hope to over turn the result at their StarTimes Stadium in Kampala, while Atlabara FC have a huge task against African giants Al Ahly of Egypt who won the first leg 4-0.

KCCA FC head coach Mike Hillary Mutebi said they will sue the home advantage to get a win in Kampala and qualify for the next round. “Of course, there is a lot of hope. We conceded soft goals because of carelessness and not because the opposition were better,” added the coach.

But African Stars FC coach Muhammad Fargo has also warned that they are not in Uganda for holiday but to eliminate KCCA FC. “If we could score three goals against them in the first leg, we can as well score more in Kampala,” said Fargo.

KCCA FC, the 2019 Cecafa Kagame Cup champions will however miss striker Patrick Henry Kaddu who signed for Moroccan Premier League side Renaissance Sportive Berkane few days ago.

The other representatives like Gor Mahia FC, Simba SC, Young Africans, El Merreikh, Rayon Sport, AS Kigali and Proline FC among others from the Cecafa region will be in CAF Champions League and CAF Confederations Cup action this weekend.
