Harambee Stars to face South Sudan, Tanzania in build-up ties
The Harambee Stars of Kenya will play two build-up matches ahead of their remaining two Total Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifying matches.
Kenya will host the Bright Star of South Sudan on March 13th and later take on Taifa Stars of Tanzania two days later.
“These two games will help our players prepare well before the two tough Afcon qualifying game,” says the Harambee Stars head coach Jacob Mulee.
The Harambee Stars will host record African champions Egypt on March 22nd before traveling to face Togo in the final Group G match on March 3oth.
Kenya who are yet to register a win in the qualifiers are third in the group with 3 points after four games, while table leaders Egypt have eight points. Togo are bottom of the log with only 1 point.
