Guinea’s Syli Nationale pitch camp in Rwanda to prepare for AFCON 2021

The Guinea national football team has arrived in Kigali, Rwanda to prepare ahead of the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2021.

Coach Kaba Diawara’s team arrived in Kigali on Tuesday for the training camp that will climax on January 6th, 2022.

The Syli Nationale are placed alongside Senegal, Zimbabwe and Malawi in Group B in the AFCON 2021 slated for January 9th to February 6th in Cameroon.

The team is trying to organize two international friendly matches against Rwanda before they fly to Cameroon for Africa’s biggest football showpiece.

Ahead of the AFCON 2021 the Guinea team has already had two defenders Antoine Conte and Florentin Pogba withdraw from the squad due to injury.
