FIFA Youth coaching course attracts 30 participants in Somalia
The Somali Football Federation (SFF) on October 24th, 2021 launched a 5-day FIFA youth coaching course in the capital Mogadishu.
FIFA Coaching Instructor, Ulric Mathiot from Seychelles is conducting the course together with few local instructors from the SFF technical development committee.
The course is the second FIFA level course to be held in the country in less than two weeks after the FIFA Grassroots coaching course.
The brings together 30 youthful coaches from across the country who will be undergoing theory and practical sessions.
According to the modules that will be covered, the youthful coaches will be equipped with best coaching tactics and knowledge to help them get the competence to produce and develop young and talented footballers for the country.
Abdiqani Said, President of the SFF thanked the world governing body FIFA for the support in helping to develop youthful coaches.
The Somali Football Federation said they are are determined to organize many coaching courses because they are committed to increasing the number of young people involved in the game.
