The Red Eagles were on Tuesday declared champions of the 2020/2021 StarTimes Uganda Premier League by the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) Emergency Committee.

Although the COVID-19 challenge affected the Uganda Premier League, the decision to declare Express FC champions was based on a rule that at list 75% of the matches had been played.

The Committee said the decision was taken based on Article 18, Section 1, Sub-section C & D of the FUFA Competition rules.
