Ethiopia’s head coach Wubetu Abate has named a provisional squad ahead of an international friendly match against Comoros.

Comoros will host Ethiopia in an international friendly match on March 25th in the national stadium in Moroni.

Abate said the friendly match will help the technical bench assess several aspects as they start planning for the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and TotalEnergies Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers.

The two teams played at the 2021 AFCON in Cameroon. While the Walia ibex bowed out in the group stage, Comoros reached the round of 16 where they lost 2-1 to hosts Cameroon.
