Dr. Mutasim Jaafar elected Sudan Football Association President

Former CECAFA President, Dr. Mutasim Jaafar has been elected President of the Sudan Football Association (SFA).

In the close contest Dr. Mutasim collected 30 votes to beat the incumbent Kamal Shaddad who had 27 votes.

The elective general Assembly of the Sudan Football Association (SFA) took place at the Police Club in Khartoum on November 13th.

Dr. Mutasim has served before as President of SFA from 2010-2013 and 2013-2017.

Former treasurer of SFA Osama Atta Almanan was also elected 1st Vice President. The other Vice Presidents elected on the executive committee include; Tariq Atta, Mutaz Alshaer, Mutasim Abdalsalam and Taha Faki. The Executive Committee also has 18 other members.

After Sudan, another CECAFA member, the Burundi Football Federation will also have an Elective General Assembly on December 5th, 2021.
