CAF President Dr. Motsepe to visit South Sudan

The President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Dr. Patrice Motsepe is expected to visit South Sudan in April, 2022.

Augustino Maduot Parek, President of the South Sudan Football Associations (SSFA) disclosed the development after his return from Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.

“ I am happy to tell you that the CAF President Dr. Motsepe has allowed to visit South Sudan in April this year to see what we are doing on the ground,” added Parek.

The SSFA President also disclosed that he had fruitful discussions with FIFA President, Gianni Infantino and Dr.Motsepe during his recent visits to Cameroon and UAE. “ We discussed vital areas of football development in South Sudan including the progress of Juba National Football Stadium with the FIFA President who has shown concern to support development of football in the country,” added Parek.

After his election last year, Dr. Motsepe promised to tour all the 54 CAF Members Associations. He has already visited Rwanda and Tanzania in the CECAFA region.
