CHAN 2024: What officials said during the draw in Nairobi
The draw for the TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024 was finally held on Wednesday night at the Kenyatta International Conventional Centre in Nairobi, Kenya.
Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania will for the first time co-host the Championship in August this year in what promises to be a great experience.
Dr. Patrice Motsepe (CAF President)
In a recorded message, President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Dr. Patrice Motsepe said, “The renovations of stadiums, training fields, infrastructure, hotels, and hospitals in the three countries reflect significant progress and motivation, evident during my tour.”

“Hosting CHAN is great inspiration to our country and East Africa. I want to thank the three Presidents of Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania for their commitment and agreeing to host CHAN 2024.”
