Head coach of Kenya’s Sagar Lakhani has said facing Rwanda in the first semi final at the on-going Cecafa U-15 Challenge Cup on Wednesday in Asmara, Eritrea will be a difficult task.

Lakhani told Cecafafootball.com that although they topped group A to reach the finals, their opponents Rwanda are a tactically strong team with good players.

“We must be at our best because this is the knock out stage and we have seen how tough Rwanda is in the group stage,” added the Kenyan coach whose team registered three wins and one draw in the group stage.

Lakhani will look to his lead goal scorer Kevin Wangaya Injehu (three goals) together with returning Harel Gil who was rushed to hospital during their last group game against Eritrea.

But Rwanda’s coach Yves Rwasamanzi also made it clear that Kenya will not have it easy against his team. “We know what to do against Kenya,” added the coach. Eric Irahamye with four goals to his credit in the tournament will be the player to watch for Rwanda.
