CECAFA to hold General Assembly in Cairo
The Council of East and Central Africa Football Associations (CECAFA) will hold a General Assembly on November 25th in Cairo, Egypt.
Auka Gecheo, the CECAFA Executive Director made it clear that the General Assembly will take place in the sidelines of the CAF Extraordinary Assembly slated for November 26th.
“We shall have several things to discuss including administrative and tournaments for the 2022 season,” said Gecheo.
He explained that they decided to hold the General Assembly in Cairo since all Presidents from Member Associations including CECAFA will all be in Cairo to attend the CAF Extraordinary Assembly.
Wallace Karia, the CECAFA President will chair the Assembly which is expected to take place at the CAF headquarters in Cairo.
