CAF President Dr. Motsepe to attend CECAFA General Assembly in Tanzania
The President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Dr. Patrice Motsepe will attend the CECAFA Extra Ordinary General Assembly in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Dr. Motsepe who is expected to arrive on Friday morning will attend the Assembly at the Golden Tulip Hotel on August 13th.
Presidents and general secretaries of different Member Associations in the region have already arrived in Dar es Salaam for the Assembly to be chaired by the CECAFA President, Wallace Karia.
CAF Secretary General Véron Mosengo-Omba who is already in Tanzania and watched the CECAFA Kagame Cup semi final clash between Nyasa Big Bullets (Malawi) and Tanzania’s Azam FC will also attend the Assembly.
“The President will arrive on Friday and attend the CECAFA Assembly and also hold a meeting with the Tanzania Prime Minister,” said Mosengo-Omba.
