Burundi’s Ndabihawenimana to officiate Pyramids, Raja semi final clash

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has selected Burundi’s Pacifique Ndabihawenimana to officiate the first leg clash of the Total CAF Confederation Cup semi final clash.

Ndabihawenimana will be in-charge of the match between Egypt’s Pyramids FC and Morocco’s Raja Casablanca slated for June 20th at the 30 June Stadium in Cairo.

The experienced referee was also last month in-charge of the second leg of the Total CAF Champions League between Simba SC and Kaizer Chiefs in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania last year.

He will handle the match together with Gilbert Kipkoech Cheruiyot (Kenya) and Dick Okello (Uganda) as the assistants. Ethiopia’s Solomon Gebresilassie Abebe will be the match commissioner.

The second semi final match will be played between Cameroon’s Coton Sport FC and JS Kabylie (Algeria). The second leg encounters will be played on June 27th.
