Le Messager De Ngozi, Bumamuru FC to host CAF games in Tanzania

Burundi’s two teams taking part in the 2020/2021 CAF competitions will play their home matches in Tanzania.

The development comes after the Confederation of African Football (CAF) did not clear the Stadiums in Burundi to host International matches.

Le Messager De Ngozi who will feature in the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League and and Bumamuru FC will play in the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup will all play their home matches at the Azam Complex Stadium.

The Burundi Premier League Champions Le Messager De Ngozi will open their TotalEnergies CAF Champions League preliminary round campaign with an away game against US Gendarmerie Nationale of Niger between September 10-12, before the return Leg is played after a week in Dar es Salaam.

Bumamuru FC will start in the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup with a home game against Congo Brazzaville’s Diables Noirs FC.
