Atlabara FC win 2021 South Sudan Cup
Juba based Atlabara FC are the winners of the 2021 South Sudan Cup.
Atlabara FC defeated Salaam FC from Kuajok 2-0 in the final played at the Buluk Training ground on Thursday.
Mandela Malish netted a brace to make sure Atlabara FC secure the slot to represent South Sudan in the 2021/2022 Total CAF Confederation Cup.
To reach the final Atlabara FC ejected Al Ahly FC 2-0, while Salaam FC defeated Holy Family FC from Rumbek 3-1.
Francis Amin Michael, President of the South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) said they are happy the competition has ended well.“The organization was good and the teams exhibited good football,” added the SSFA President.
Last month the 2021 South Sudan Women’s League was also concluded with Yei Join Stars becoming the champions.
