The Kenya Women national team, Harambee Starlets have stepped up preparations ahead of a tricky Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games qualifier. Head coach David Ouma has said although they have some aspects to improve, the team is responding well ahead of the first leg match slated for November 8th at the MISC Kasarani Stadium.

“We are trying to improve on the scoring department, but also make sure the defending is good enough. We need to get a good result before the return leg

Ouma said the players have shown great determination. “We need to start at the right footing in our home ground to give us a better chance to beat Zambia and proceed to the final stage against Ivory Coast or Cameroon,” he added.
