Sudan to camp in Dubai ahead of 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier

The national team of Sudan will camp in Dubai, United Arab Emirates ahead of their opening 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying Group I tie away to Morocco.

Isam Shaban, the assistant General Secretary of the Sudan Football Association (SFA) told Cecafaonline.com on Wednesday that the national team will camp in Dubai between August 20-28th.

“As an Association we have decided that the team camps in Dubai and flies straight to Morocco for the game on September 3rd. We are also trying to see that we have some friendly matches,” added Isam Shaban.

The Sudan national team handled by Hubert Velud are placed in Group I of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers alongside Morocco, Guinea and Guinea Bissau.

The other teams in the CECAFA region that will battle in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers include; Djibouti, Rwanda, Kenya, Ethiopia and Tanzania.
