FIFA President congratulates Karia upon re-election to lead Tanzania Football Federation

The President of the Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA), Gianni Infantino has congratulated Wallace Karia upon his re-election to head the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) for another 4-years.

Karia was re-elected President of TFF during the Assembly held in Tanga on August 7th.

“Please accept my warmest and sincere congratulations for your re-election as Prsident of the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) for a four-year term, at the TFF elective General Assembly held on Saturday, 7 August, 2021 in Tanga,” stated Infantino’s letter to Karia dated August 16th, 2021.

The FIFA President went on to send best wishes to Karia and his team best wishes for this new mandate and every success for all the challenges that lie ahead. “I look forward, dear President, to continuing to work with you for the growth and prosperity of football in Tanzania in the years to come,” added Infantino.

Karia who is credited for making several strides in the development of football in Tanzania is also the President of the Council of East and central Africa Football Associations (CECAFA).
